Hands.

I have unique hands. I love it. And I hate it. I don't know why, but I always had rough hands. I swear, my hands belong to a 60 year-old man's. But hey, it comes to good use. I love taking photos of my hands, I find it interesting. My friends compare it to "God-like". I find that a little far fetched. It's just so, wrinkly. I don't know. haha. But it comes to great photo use, so hey, I'm not complaining.

I love to photograph hands, nonetheless. Hands to me, symbolize life. Human life. Take the Twilight book cover for example (I'm referring to the book cover, not the story), the hands holding the apple is so artistic, yet so symbolic.

This photo that I took, with my hands over shattered class, was taken when I was in a distraught mood.

Self Portraits.

Since I don't have a lighting system yet, I had to get some ghetto lamps in my house in order to do headshots for now. I was able to accomplish this photo with the lamps on my face, and the camera on a tripod, and set the self timer.

The Wedding.

Was beautiful. Way better then I had thought it would be. My first wedding was a success, I was able to get great and wonderful photos. I might even consider putting these photos in my portfolio in the future.

So tomorrow, I'm doing my first wedding.

I was hired to do a wedding tomorrow. I'm a little nervous. I never did a wedding before. I mean, these people will have my photos to use to look back when they have 5 children in the future. But hey, this is nothing compared to when Governor Crist came to my school. I had to be right on top of him taking photographs. Quite exciting, actually.
I'm bringing my camera and a tripod tomorrow. I wish I was able to have a telephoto lens. That way, it would be a hell of a lot easier taking photos. No matter, I'm sure everything will go smooth. Besides, they have an all you can eat buffet thing going on =)
I'll post a photo or two from the wedding tomorrow.

The type of Photography I work with.

(These are photos from my Alice in Wonderland theme, more can be seen on my flickr, which I posted the link under here)

To be perfectly honest, I don't know which type I work with. There's so many choices you can do, and so many creative ideas you can work with when it comes to photography. Let alone any form of art.
I love photography. To think that you can capture a moment of your life and look back on it in the future is probably one of the best gifts anyone can have.

Personally, I love working with everything. Avant Garde, Concert Photography, even Night photography. But what I really love to work in my photos is to just stand out. I've done many different themes, such as The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, I've even done a Gaga shoot before. I use photoshop a lot when I'm working with photos: whether if it's to make the photo in Black and white, to retouch, or to just create some cool effects.
For my Alice in Wonderland series, I had to photoshop a ton of aspects towards the photo to give that trippy affect.
I currently use a Nikon D3000. I plan on getting a D90 also. It's good to have a variety of cameras and lenses. I will be posting more of my work in the future.

It's really good as a side job too. I mean, I'm currently job hunting, so whenever someone is looking for a photoshoot for whatever reason, it can come in handy too. I just recently took photos of a baby, whose mom was so eager for shots of her baby.

Meantime, if you want to see more of what I do, my flickr is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49193956@N02/
